Eberle Design Inc. and Reno A&E to Feature Traffic Detection, Intersection Safety Monitoring and Access Control Solutions at ITS America’s Annual Meeting & Expo

PHOENIX, Ariz. and RENO, Nev. (May 7, 2015) — Eberle Design Inc. (EDI) and Reno A&E (RAE) will exhibit at the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) Annual Meeting & Expo at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Penn., May 31-June 3, 2015. Booth 417 will feature advanced traffic detection technology, intersection safety monitoring and access control solutions such as:

Eberle Glance™, RAE Glance™ and Data Aggregator™ DA-100B Series field monitoring device from the iCITE™ (Intelligent Cabinet Interface for Transportation Equipment) product suite, is the first system capable of accessing real-time intersection and arterial traffic data from any remote, non-interconnected traffic cabinet, using high-speed communications, regardless of the traffic controller or central ITS system.

Advanced Traffic Controller Cabinet, an open architecture traffic control cabinet designed to take advantage of ultra low-power LED signals, enhanced fail-safer design and diagnostics, and compact double-density size and modularity.

x-Link™, the only interconnected grade-crossing operations recorder that incorporates high-resolution digital video and data of critical train and vehicle movements. x-Link records incidents at railroad grade crossings as it monitors both railroad and traffic cabinet operations and signal status.

EDI and RAE Signal Monitor Recertification Program provides a new two-year factory warranty, product firmware updates, minor repairs, a formal test report, new warranty label, and recertification card for any EDI or RAE signal monitor less than 12 years old.

RAE Bicycle Detection & Differentiation System combines a C-series detector with modified algorithms and prefabricated inductive loops for new and upgraded intersections. The RAE (model C-1101-B and model C-1201-B) loop detectors identify all vehicles, including the ability to differentiate bicycles from all other vehicles, as well as scooters and motorcycles.

EDI is a proud sponsor of the 2015 ITS America Annual Meeting & Expo, which brings together more than 2,000 of the nation’s top transportation and technology business leaders, investors, policymakers, public agency representatives and researchers.
